Trent Richardson Trent Richardson

School: Alabama Crimson Tide
Position: Running Back
Measurements: 5′ 9 ht 228lbs
Projection: Top 5 pick overall

In One Word: Power
Fantasy Value: Excellent
Resembles:Steven Jackson
Mock Prediction: Browns (4th)

Fantasy owners are dying to see where this bruiser of a power back lands on draft day. After two seasons as Mark Ingram’s back-up, Richardson let loose on the football nation smashing opponents left, right and center.

Richardson is a strong power-back that best suits runs inside the tackles, yet has all the skills and patience to cut to the outside if the holes don’t open up. His burst and acceleration surpasses what many expect from a RB his size. At 220+ pounds Trent Richardson can cut and juke a linebacker out of his jock-strap. If his moves don’t make defenders miss, his deadly stiff-arm and excellent leg drive will run over the ones who stand in his way.

With soft hands and a feel for the open spots in coverage, Richardson is a hidden gem as a receiver in the Pro’s. With no fear in laying out for a pass or extending his body to a poorly thrown ball, Richardson’s value see’s new heights in fantasy football. On the right team, in the right offense, this kid hits the fantasy stock market as must buy player.

Trent Richardson has a great work ethic and is a freak in the weight room. He has two young daughters so he should be somewhat grounded for a man his age. I expect the team that snags this Fantasy gem to see a instant spike in not only yards per carry average, but red-zone percentage.

He is the definition of an all purpose running back. See where he stands in our Top 200 NFL Draft Prospect board

Check out the juke he puts on the guy before punching in the score…Sick! (30 sec.mark)
