ThriveFantasy Player Prop Advice: Week 13

ThriveFantasy Tips: Week 13

Have you ever heard of ThriveFantasy?

It is a new Daily Fantasy Sports app that is unlike your usual competitive fantasy choices and meant for the everyday fan. ThriveFantasy focuses on top-tier athletes from every sport while streamlining the drafting process. The result is a captivating DFS game that even the casual and hardcore sports fan can enjoy. You build a lineup around a list of simple binary player propositions.

The less likely the player prop is to take place the more points the choice will be worth. You score points based on the number of props you select correctly. As an example, your team could be made up of 15 picks that you select out of an available list of 20. You will also select two in case of emergency or ICE picks. These ICE picks will automatically be added to your team only if an athlete is ruled out of a game prior to their start time. You will be alerted if an ICE is being used. ThriveFantasy has an app that features live updates to let you know in real time how close your picks are to hitting and to provide you a line of sight of how you stack to the competition.

This week’s article will focus on the $20 NFL Week 13 $2,500 Guaranteed Contest highlighting 10 props to target.

ThriveFantasy Week 13

Jared Goff

306.5 Passing Yards

  • Over = 95 points
  • Under = 105 points

Goff is averaging 322 passing yards per game this season with 300 or more passing yards in three consecutive games. The Rams are heavy favorites on the road against the Lions, but Vegas has a 55.5 projected point total on this game because of the Rams defense. The team is 4-6-1 against the spread this season while being 8-21-1 against the spread in their last 11 games after a bye. Goff may have to throw more often than you think. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Christian McCaffrey

72.5 Rushing Yards

  • Over = 110 points
  • Under = 90 points

The Panthers opened as four-point favorites with a projected point total of 56 according to Vegas. The spread suggests that this game will be close. McCaffrey has averaged 15.25 rushing attempts and 83.5 rushing yards over the last four games. He finished with 79 rushing yards back in Week 9 when the Panthers played the Buccaneers. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Eli Manning

22.5 Completions

  • Over = 80 points
  • Under = 120 points

Manning has averaged 25 completions per game this season, but has two games out of his last four with under 20. He has a difficult matchup against the Bears stout defense. This unit has produced 20 interceptions while holding opposing offenses to 19.2 points per game which leads the NFL. Manning is a risky fantasy option due to his erratic play. He could literally implode at any moment and as a result, my recommendation is to take the under on this player prop.

Patrick Mahomes

320.5 Passing Yards

  • Over = 90 points
  • Under = 110 points

Mahomes is averaging a robust 329 passing yards per game. The Chiefs offense should be able to impose their will on the Raiders defense that is the worst in the NFL at pressuring the quarterback with just 10 sacks in 11 games. They are 15-point favorites with the total opening at 55. The Chiefs are 11-4 straight up and against the spread in its last 15 games at Oakland. The over has hit in seven of the Chiefs last eight road games. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Kareem Hunt

83.5 Rushing Yards

  • Over = 105 points
  • Under = 95 points

The Raiders defense has allowed the highest number of rushing yards per game this season. This unit has allowed 170 rushing yards per game over its last three games. Hunt is averaging nearly 20 touches per game and could finish Week 13 as the top fantasy running back. The Chiefs offense has averaged 458.3 total yards of offense per game over its last three. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Doug Martin

0.5  Touchdowns (rush or rec)

  • Over = 130 points
  • Under = 70 points

The Raiders are winless against teams with a winning record. They are losing by an average of 17.5 points. The Chiefs are 15 point favorites with the Vegas projected point total set at 56.5. The Chiefs defense has allowed 1.2 rushing touchdowns and 1.8 passing touchdowns per game. The Raiders are likely to be playing from behind the entire game. Martin didn’t show any ill effects of his ankle injury last week against the Ravens. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Russell Wilson

262.5 Passing Yards and Rushing Yards

  • Over = 100 points
  • Under = 100 points

Russell WilsonThe Seahawks opened the week as 10-point home favorites against the 49ers. The Vegas point total in this NFC West matchup comes in at 46. Wilson will exploit the 49ers banged up secondary, but also should be able to attack them as a runner out of the pocket. The 49ers run defense is better than you think only allowing 105.2 rushing yards on the road. Wilson and Seattle’s passing game will be relied on to move the chains in this matchup. The Seahawks have covered the spread nine out of the last 10 times they hosted San Francisco. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Philip Rivers

2.5 Passing Touchdowns

  • Over = 140 points
  • Under = 60 points

The Vegas point total between the Chargers and Steelers is set at 51.5 points. Austin Ekeler is set to lead the Chargers backfield due to Melvin Gordon’s MCL injury, but the Chargers are likely to rely on Rivers. The Steelers defense is allowing 2.6 passing touchdowns at home this season which leads the NFL. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

James Conner

76.5 Rushing Yards

  • Over = 95 points
  • Under = 105 points

Conner is averaging 17 rushing attempts and 77 rushing yards per game this season. The Steelers will test the Chargers run defense in this matchup. Conner will look to get back on track after only averaging 47.7 rushing yards over the last three games. He will have a great opportunity to do so on a national stage for Sunday Night Football. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Joe Mixon

99.5 Total Rushing and Receiving Yards

  • Over = 100 points
  • Under = 100 points

Mixon is averaging 117 total yards per game this season. Even if you take out last week’s game he is still averaging 95 total yards per game. Mixon will continue to see a high number of touches and with Andy Dalton out for the season with a thumb injury will be leaned on even more as the Bengals host the Broncos. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.
