Can New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell rebound off a frustrating fantasy season last year? or are his best days behind him? In this article, I recap what went wrong last season and try to forecast Bell’s potential this season. Quick Reminder: I know this has been a very strange year with Covid-19 and […]
Deal or No Deal Our favorite running back from the 2018 season has finally found a new home with the New York Jets. Le’Veon Bell signed a four-year, $52.5 million contract with $35 million guaranteed and an average annual salary of $13,125,000 via Spotrac.com. The maximum value of the contract is $61 million. I bet Le’Veon Bell wishes he could jump in a time machine and go back a few weeks. A preview of the fantasy-relevant players that are set to become free agents in 2018 and possible on-field implications.
With the new season just mere hours away, last minute draft preparation goes into overdrive. Past performance can often be a good way of indicating future success, but don't just expect the points players got in 2015 to magically make it on to your fantasy squad. Here are five studs from last season that, for one reason or another, will not be as successful this time around.
The winless Baltimore Ravens will look to kickstart their 2015 campaign on Thursday Night, as they travel to divisional rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite their 2-1 record, all is not rosy with the hosts, as they look to recover from the loss of their talismanic quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and keep their season afloat until he returns in about four to six weeks.
Pittsburgh Steelers fans (and fantasy fans) were licking their chops at the teams prospects for 2015. With Ben Roethlisberger signing a new contract, more or less assuring he finishes his career in black and gold, Le'Veon Bell recovering from the knee hyperextension that ruled him out of the Wildcard round of last seasons playoffs, and Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant and even Markus Wheaton ready to roll, it wouldn't shock anyone if the Steelers did in fact achieve offensive coordinator Todd Haley's goal of 30 points a game in the coming season.
