I'm back once again to shine the white hot light on three players who, despite finding themselves on many a fantasy players roster, are doing very little currently to justify this faith.
For the third season in a row, fantasy owners find themselves looking towards the backfield of the Cincinnati Bengals and asking – "Which one do I choose?" While the choice of Gio Bernard or Jeremy Hill is not a position battle destined to command the curiosity of the footballing free world in a manner akin to that of Joe Montana and Steve Young, it was quite the conundrum for those of us running fantasy teams in 2015.
Remember last year when Bills' OC Nate Hackett said they would be "running Spiller until he throws up"? This little comment caught fire, dug into the fantasy hive mind and lit the fuse under Spiller’s meteoric rise into the stratosphere of pre-season fantasy rankings.
We may have been spoiled by fantasy rookie quarterbacks in 2012, but 2013 brought a spoil of rookie running backs to compensate for the lack of depth at the position entering our drafts. Rookies that ended up being steals in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds won't be on the board much past Round 2 in 2014.
The upcoming NFL season will be a big one for Giovani Bernard Fantasy owners. Could the new OC change the way the offensive approaches games?
