Except for the NFL Schedule release in mid-May, the NFL is about to enter slow offseason mode very shortly. We had free agency, saw some trades, and watched the (arguably uneventful) 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Football fans are thrilled as this is usually when rookie drafts start up, but for the most part, football gets put on a shelf for a few months. So, I figured there is no better time than now to time stamp some NFL Super Bowl odds. I like creating these articles as it allows fans to go back and see where teams were ranked in the offseason. This is also a fantastic time of year to trust your gut and take a peek at some NFL online sportsbook odds at futures, as they likely won’t be this good again. Super Bowl Odds: +650
The Eagles remain strong; they never traded A.J. Brown or Dallas Goedert like the rumor mill had said they would. The Birds also added depth to what was already an amazing NFL Draft. The Eagles selected Bama LB Jihaad Campbell 31st overall. Campbell uses his speed and athleticism to help mitigate mistakes and get to the football at a relatively high rate. He’s a consistent open-field tackler who excels on third downs as a fluid blitzer and impressive cover talent. The elite traits and athletic talent will be tantalizing. Still, the best way to utilize him might be as a full-time 3-4 rush linebacker, where he can play more proactively instead of reactively as an off-ball linebacker.
What they said: “Howie Roseman is at it again. In theory, the draft order should put the Super Bowl champs at a bit of a disadvantage. It rarely works out that way when we’re talking about the Eagles. Campbell, our No. 14-ranked player in this class, is arguably the best value pick of Day 1. Mukuba was likely only available at the end of the second round because of his size, but you’d never know it based on the way he plays. He’s a physical, downhill force in the run game who also plays with great instincts in coverage. He’ll immediately fill a big need for the Philly defense. Don’t sleep on Ty Robinson, either. The Nebraska product is an excellent athlete who could contribute right away in Philly’s defensive line rotation. And Eagles fans should be thrilled with Mondon in the fifth round. The Georgia product is one of the best coverage linebackers in this draft, potentially giving him a path to immediate contributions in sub packages.” – Pro Football Network Grade: A
The Eagles aren’t a dynasty… yet. But with the core of their top young players locked up for years, it’s hard to argue they couldn’t run things back and win another Super Bowl this season. Jalen Hurts gets better with every season, but the team isn’t sitting on his shoulders; they have an amazing running game, a top-three defense, and a smart coaching staff. For that, I think +650 is a solid bet.

Super Bowl Odds: +700
The problem for me is that Lamar Jackson can’t win the big game. And until he does, I’m not betting on “this is his year” talk. Think about it, Jalen Hurts has been in the league for less time and has gone to two Super Bowls; He was actually more deserving of the MVP in the game he lost, too.
Sleeper Longshot
Super Bowl Odds: +3000
This really boils down to the health and ability of J.J. McCarthy. Head coach Kevin O’Connell and general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensahhave both publicly expressed confidence in their young passer. More importantly, the moves they’ve made this offseason show their belief in him: letting Darnold walk, declining to sign Rodgers, and devoting ample resources to the offensive line. McCarthy feels like he’s walking into an extraordinary situation.
The shoes have already been broken in, but will McCarthy be a good fit? At +3000, I think it’s worth a long shot wager.
