Bold Fantasy Football Predictions
If you made it to the semi-final in week 15, then congratulations! You are one more week closer to winning that fantasy football title that you’ve been working towards all year. The season has been filled with ups and downs, but if you are eyeing that championship trophy, you have come to the right place. Here are a few bold predictions that’ll help you start that lineup that will carry you onto the championship game.
Jimmy Garoppolo Will Be QB1
Garoppolo had a great game against the Saints in the Superdome last week throwing for 349 yards and four touchdowns while completing over 74% of his passes. This week he gets one of the worst secondaries in the league as Atlanta comes to town. They’ve allowed seven quarterbacks to have over 20 fantasy points this season and one over 40. You can bet that Garoppolo and his weapons will be lighting up the field on Sunday.
Baker Mayfield Will Be Top-5 QB
The struggle has been real for Baker Mayfield and the entire Browns offense. Playcalling has been inconsistent and the drama is beginning to start in Cleveland. Last week, Mayfield wasn’t able to complete even half of his passes and didn’t even reach 200 yards. He also had two interceptions to his zero touchdowns. This week is going to be a big turnaround. They take on one of the worst defenses in the league, the Arizona Cardinals. The Browns offense is going to exploit them and Mayfield will have a big game for your fantasy playoffs.
Nick Chubb is the RB1 This Week
Another Cleveland Brown that will have a big game is Nick Chubb. The Cardinals are allowing teams to run and throw all over them this year, and this week will be more of the same. Chubb’s been a solid player all year for fantasy owners and they get a very good matchup in a crucial time for fantasy teams as they look to continue their playoff run to a fantasy football championship.
Saquon Barkley Bounces Back Big
It’s been a pretty sad year for fantasy owners who draft Saquon Barkley first overall. He’s failed to put up much production at all and plus, he’s been injured as well. In the last four weeks, Barkley has failed to put up double-digit in all but one of his last matchups. This week though is going to be his get right game. He gets a struggling Miami Dolphins defense that is terrible against the run. If this Giants team wants to get this offense right, they’re going to have to get Barkley going.
Allen Robinson Disappoints
Allen Robinson has been a pleasant surprise for the Chicago Bears and his fantasy owners. Over the last three weeks, Robinson has put up 20 or more points. The hope is that can continue as we enter the semi-finals of the fantasy football playoffs. Unfortunately, that’s not going to be the case. Robinson is going to be shut down and will fail to reach double-digit fantasy points and could potentially lose you your chance at a fantasy football title.
Emmanual Sanders Lands in the Top-10
Emmanual Sanders had an amazing game last week against the Saints. He put up 157 yards on seven catches and found the endzone once as well. The success is going to continue to some degree this week as he gets a below-average Falcons secondary. Expect him to be upwards of 20 fantasy points. He’ll find the endzone against and be over 100 yards as well.
Zach Ertz Scores 30+
Zach Ertz, who is a potential out year with young tight end Dallas Goedert sitting behind him, is having another outstanding year. He has 827 yards and five touchdowns and 79 catches on the year. 91 of those yards came last week against the Giants and two touchdowns as well. He had a 30 point fantasy game last week and he will do it again this week against another divisional opponent, the Washington Redskins. He will also be the TE1 this week.
