[the_ad id=”105842″]Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins has been granted a two-game roster exemption and is now eligible to play, making his NFL debut possible in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens. The exemption follows his recent signature of a fully guaranteed four-year rookie deal. He missed training camp and the preseason while contract terms were worked out.
Judkins was selected with the 36th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. At Ohio State (after transferring from Ole Miss), he amassed 3,785 rushing yards, 45 touchdowns on the ground, plus 59 catches for 442 yards and five more scores. He will wear number 10 for Cleveland.
Though Judkins is cleared to practice and eligible for Week 2, he is currently listed as the third running back on Cleveland’s depth chart behind Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson. Ford is the lead back. Sampson, also a rookie, drew attention in Week 1 with 12 carries for 29 yards rushing and eight catches for 64 yards.
A meeting with NFL officials over Judkins’s offseason conduct case was held after prosecutors dropped charges of domestic violence. The NFL investigation is ongoing. Judkins’s full availability could depend on any league discipline outcome.
If active in Week 2, Judkins may play a limited role. Expect him to split work initially, likely not a fantasy starter immediately, but a player to watch.
