NFL Season Team Win Odds

The most popular NFL future wager is betting on your team to win the Super Bowl, but it’s very cliche unless you truly believe this is your year. With the expanding options in sports betting, online betting now has endless prop bets and futures to consider. It’s one of my personal favorite NFL Future betting on team wins.

It’s as simple as it sounds: you’re betting on the odds of an NFL team hitting the over or under on a set number of projected wins. This gives you a second, even third, favorite team to cheer for throughout the season. In this article, I’ll go over two of my favorite bets for the 2024 NFL season.

The following are this year’s NFL team win odds, which are subject to change at any time.

Best Bets

Over 10.5 Wins (+100)

The Philadelphia Eagles started strong last season, winning ten of their first eleven games. The wheels quickly fell off after that. Offensive and Defensive Coordinators were let go in the offseason after being very predictable at key moments in big games. Opponents began to take advantage of their coaching mistakes, which led to a second-half meltdown.

However, the Eagles had a busy and productive offseason. After upgrading their Coordinators with experienced coaches, the Birds added a handful of big names, including RB SaQuon Barkley and DE Bryce Huff, who should make a huge impact in 2024.

The Eagles at even money to win 11 games is one of the best bets on the board. This team is looking to return to the Super Bowl after a disappointing finish to a 10-1 start last season. Jalen Hurts was playing hurt last fall but won’t have to put the team on his shoulders with the addition of Barkley in 2024. Barkley gets to play behind a far better offensive line than he saw in New York while the passing game is still elite and a threat to score at any time.

The Eagles had an excellent draft in late April. With heavy attention on improving their defensive secondary, the Birds walked away with potentially two starters with their first two picks. Add that with the return of SS C. J. Gardner-Johnson, who was with the team throughout their Super Bowl run, and the Eagle’s defense should be much improved.

Over 6.5 Wins (+110)

The Tennessee Titans will not look the same in 2024. Their power back Derek Henry has moved on, signing in Baltimore in the offseason. Long-time Head Coach Mike Vrabel will also not be back, which is one of the reasons why the Titans’ win total is low this year. However, I’m optimistic about some of their offseason changes, including the hiring of new Head Coach Brian Callahan. Callahan was the Offensive Coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2019 to 2023.

Will Levis will take the reins as the starting quarterback for the Titans this season. Levis started nine games last year, putting up sub-par numbers. The optimism is that he’ll get a full offseason as QB1 in Callahan’s system. The Titans have always been a team that likes to run the ball and play tough defense, and despite the personal changes, I don’t think much will change. They signed center Lloyd Cushenberry to a four-year deal worth $50 million and drafted J.C. Latham from Alabama, who will play left tackle. These upgrades to the offensive line should help Levis take the next step.

The Titans ranked 17th in rushing yards per game last year, with Henry leading the charge. His replacement will be a combination of Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears, both are more elusive running backs that will get involved in the passing game. The Titans also added Calvin Ridley in the offseason, which should help the Levis and the passing game. The AFC North is an up-and-coming division in the NFL with a lot of young talent. However, this division has no clear-cut leader, and there should be a lot of great interdivisional battles. I could see the Titans getting at least three wins from beating the teams they know the most. Throw in matchups against the Bears, Patriots, and Commanders, and I can see six wins right away. Reaching that 7th win to hit the over may seem difficult when looking at the team’s 2024 NFL Schedule, but I’m confident the Titans will play spoiler a handful of times this year. I could see an eight win season.
