Fanduel Sleepers Week 7
Last week was another solid week for Gridiron Experts and my Fanduel sleepers. Hopefully, I can continue this streak in Week 7. The suggested Fanduel players below have been selected because they are, in my opinion, “the best bang for your buck” to build a lineup with.
Quarterback
Tyrod Taylor vs. TB
FanDuel Price: $7,000
Taylor finds himself in a great matchup against the Buccaneers at home. In the two home games this season for Taylor he scored over 17 points in both of those matchups who were against the Jets and the Broncos. The Buccaneers were torched this past week against the Cardinals and have given up on average the third most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season with 20 fantasy points a game.
Running Back
Devonta Freeman @ NE
FanDuel Price: $7,800
The Patriots defense isn’t good this season, especially it’s linebackers. Freeman is going to feast in this game. The Patriots defense is giving up 29 fantasy points a week to team running backs but where they are getting torched is against running backs who can catch the ball. The Patriots have surrendered the most receiving yards (457) to running backs this season, the second most receptions (42) and the second most targets (55) to running backs this season. Freeman is a great pass catcher who will be featured in this revenge game for the Falcons.
Dion Lewis vs. ATL
FanDuel Price: $5,500
Both my running back best bargains are in the same game because I expect this game to be high scoring. Dion Lewis last week led the Patriots running backs in touches. His touches have slightly increased the last three weeks and I wonder if that trend continues. Lewis has scored twice in the last three weeks and is averaging 5.0 YPC on the season. Mike Gillislee fumbled last week and we know how much the Patriots love when a running back fumbles. Look for Lewis to get another 10 plus touches in Week 7.
Wide Receiver
A.J. Green vs. PIT
FanDuel Price: $8,500
So Green is the third highest price wide receiver so he needs to go absolutely crazy in order for him to be worth the investment. Well, Green is going to go crazy this week. He feasts on the Steelers in Pittsburgh. A big-time player who shows up in a big-time rivalry. In Greens last three games at Heinz Field. He has 32 targets, 22 receptions, 427 yards, and three touchdowns. That is an average of 7.3 receptions, 142 yards and one touchdown a game. Hoping he makes it four big games in a row against the Steelers.
Robert Woods vs. ARZ
FanDuel Price: $6,000
The Cardinals nickel corners haven’t been good at all this season. As a team, they have given up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers but most of that damage has been done away from Patrick Peterson. Speaking of Peterson he might miss the game to injury which opens the field up for Woods even more. Woods leads the Rams in receiving yards with 322 and he is second on the team in receptions behind running back Todd Gurley. Woods will find the end zone for the first time this year.
Tight End
Jimmy Graham vs. NYG
FanDuel Price: $5,600
Defense / Special Teams
Miami Dolphins vs. NYJ
FanDuel Price: $4,300
The Dolphins defense is for real. They haven’t allowed more than 20 points in a game yet this year. The Jets are playing much better than expected but they still aren’t an offense that I would fear. Having the Jets at home is a great matchup and at that price, it is hard to argue with.
Thanks for reading and remember to come back next week and if you win big don’t be afraid to share some of the wealth to the guy who brought you the advice.
