FanDuel Week 11 Picks
I made a wish on November 11th at 11:11 that my Week 11 advice would be worth buying into. If not then maybe I broke a record for the most mentions for the number 11 in a single sentence and in an opening paragraph to a fantasy football article. Believe it or not but this is my 11th season playing fantasy football and I can never remember a season as crazy as this one filled with injuries and surprise teams. What shouldn’t be a surprise is how well the Gridiron Experts team has been doing this year in weekly projections. Enough of the narcissistic brags, let’s have another great week! It’s important to remember the suggested Fanduel players below have been selected because they are, in my opinion, “the best bang for your buck” to build a lineup with.

Alex Smith @ NYG
FanDuel Price: $7,900
Alex Smith this season has scored the third most fantasy points this season and has been super consistent on the road not scoring under 15 fantasy points. He is the ninth highest priced quarterback on Fanduel this week which is quite surprising considering how good he has been this season. What shouldn’t surprise you is me taking a quarterback playing the Giants because this team has totally given up. The last three games the Giants have allowed more than 25 fantasy points to quarterbacks. Get ready to make it four games in a row.
Jay Ajayi @DAL
FanDuel Price: $6,900
The Cowboys will more than likely be without defensive captain Sean Lee which is a huge loss considering he is the quarterback on their defense. Sean Lee left the first quarter this past week with a hamstring injury which means in the games that Sean Lee hasn’t played the Cowboys are giving up an average of 153 rushing yards per game. In those three games the Rams, Packers, and Falcons combined for 97 points. Bottom line the Cowboys without Lee is a defense to target.
Kenyan Drake vs. TB
FanDuel Price: $5,300
Kenyan Drake scored the first rushing touchdown for the Dolphins this season on a 66- yard touchdown run. Seriously the first rushing touchdown for the Dolphins came in Week 10 which is mind-blowing to me. You know what else is mind-blowing? The fact, that the Dolphins keep giving the ball to Damien Williams who is clearly less talented than Drake. I am hoping the Dolphins go with Drake against a Buccaneers defense who has surrendered the seventh-most fantasy points to running backs this season.
Tyreek Hill @NYG
FanDuel Price: $7,600
When Tyreek Hill is on the road you play him because of how dominant he has been with 24 receptions, 467 yards, and four touchdowns in five games. I love stacking Smith and Hill because not only is the matchup great, they are relatively well priced due to recency bias. The Chiefs were on a bye in Week 10 so people forget about them and now their price goes down, it happens every week with teams coming off a bye. Last reason I think it’s smart to play Hill this week is that everyone is going to play Travis Kelce because of the Giants being the worst team in the NFL at stopping tight ends so if Hill scores instead of Kelce that is even better for you.
Sterling Shepard vs. KC
FanDuel Price: $6,500
Sticking with the Chiefs and Giants game because both pass defenses are struggling. The Giants are going to need to keep up with the Chiefs which means Sterling Shepard get plenty of chances against the worst defense in the league against wide receivers. The Chiefs defense has allowed the third most receiving yards 1,682, the second most targets 205, the most touchdowns 15 and the most fantasy points to wide receivers this season.
Austin Hooper @SEA
FanDuel Price: $5,300
The Seahawks gave up a touchdown last week to Jermaine Gresham and have allowed over 13 fantasy points to tight ends in two straight weeks. The Seahawks have lost Richard Sherman for the season with a ruptured Achilles and I think the Seahawks who are normally great at home are vulnerable due to injuries. The Falcons will be without running back Devonta Freeman and I think the team leans on its passing game. Hooper is a TE1 this season and has seen six targets in three straight games and he has scored double-digit fantasy points three times in the last five weeks. He will score double-digit fantasy points this week.
Will Lutz vs. WAS
FanDuel Price: $5,000
Find a kicker on a good offense check, find a kicker in a dome check, find a kicker at a decent price check. Ok, let’s go. That is normally how I pick my kickers, it isn’t science sorry. If you’re looking for numbers to why you should play Lutz then well you’re in luck. The Redskins have given up the third most field attempts this season with 24 and with how consistent Lutz has been this season not scoring under seven points all season makes him a safe pick. The last four weeks kickers against the Redskins have scored 10,-3, 15, and 12. Lutz won’t go full Blair Walsh and score negative points, he will score 10 plus fantasy points this week.
Defense / Special Teams
Jaguars @ CLE
FanDuel Price: $5,600
Yea the Jaguars are the most expensive defense on Fanduel and I don’t care. They are the best defense in the NFL playing the worst team in the NFL. They lead the NFL in sacks with 35 and their ability to get after the quarterback leads to turnovers and touchdowns. The Browns lead the league in interceptions with 18 and I am betting on one of those interceptions turning into a touchdown for the Jaguars.
Thanks for Reading and good luck in week 11!
