Fanduel Week 10 NFL Picks
I don’t mean to brag, but my Week 9 Best Buy Article killed it. My best buys last week were like Black Friday Shopping, just absolute steals and I think I deserve a pat on the back. It’s important to remember the suggested Fanduel players below have been selected because they are, in my opinion, “the best bang for your buck” to build a lineup with.
Josh McCown @ TB
FanDuel Price: $7,400
This week the Jets take on the Buc’s, which could be a revenge game for Josh McCown who played for the Buccaneers for one season back in 2014. McCown has been a solid daily fantasy QB starter in 2017; currently, he is a top ten fantasy quarterback and more recently, a top-three fantasy QB over the past few weeks. The Jets are coming off a big win against the Bills and have had ten days to prepare for a Buccaneers team that is falling apart and giving up the seventh most fantasy points to QBs this season.
Orleans Darkwa @SF
FanDuel Price: $5,300
Guess which team gives up the most fantasy points to running backs in the NFL? Yep, the 49ers who average 30.5 fantasy points a week to running backs. The Niners just let Adrian Peterson run for over 150 yards and set a career high in carries with 37. Darkwa has looked good this season averaging 5.1 YPC and is averaging 17 touches a game over the last three contests. If he can get 17 touches against this weak 49ers run defense, he will be worth the money.
Jordan Howard vs. GB
FanDuel Price: $7,200
The Packers without Aaron Rodgers may be the worst team in the NFL. The Packers haven’t scored more than 17 points since Rodgers’ injury and are painful to watch. I’m projecting the Bears to win this game with Howard getting a lot of carries in the process. In the Bears three wins this season, Howard averaged 27 carries a game. If Howard can get his touches this week against a Packers defense who gives up the seventh most fantasy points to running backs, he will be an absolute steal at his price.
Robby Anderson @TB
FanDuel Price: $6,500
Stay in the flames that is Robby Anderson! Over the last four weeks, Anderson has seen 28 targets and been a top six wide receiver. He faces the Buccaneers in week ten who have given up 117 receptions to wide receivers this season, which is the second most in the NFL. The Buccaneers have also given up the second most fantasy points to wide receivers on a weekly basis, allowing 39 points a week. Anderson has scored in three straight weeks and will make it four in a row against a poor Buccaneers defense.
Robert Woods vs. HOU
FanDuel Price: $6,200
The Houston Texans have been struggling against wide receivers who can stretch the field the last two weeks. Paul Richardson (6 rec, 105 yards, 2 TDs) and T.Y. Hilton (5 rec, 175 yards, 2 TDs) both did damage to the Texans secondary. Robert Woods has been a reliable option for the Rams with just one game under five targets in 2017.
Woods leads the Rams with 31 receptions and 451 yards and has proven to be the top receiving target in that offense. Finding a top target in the league’s highest-scoring offense at this price is worth the investment.
Kyle Rudolph @WAS
FanDuel Price: $5,400
Kyle Rudolph over the last four weeks has been getting his targets (32), receptions (22) and has even found the end zone twice. However, the issue is he isn’t gaining a lot of yards. In fact, Rudolph doesn’t have a single game this year with over 50 yards receiving. I’m predicting that streak ends this week against a Redskins team who have allowed the most receiving yards to tight ends this season with 637.
Chris Boswell @ IND
FanDuel Price: $4,800
The Colts allow the fourth-most fantasy points to kickers and going with Boswell who has six other kickers with a higher price than him. The Steelers should be able to win this game since they have been playing solid football winning four games in a row and coming off a bye. Boswell is in a dome and his two games this season in a dome he has scored eight and 16 fantasy points.
Defense / Special Teams
Chicago Bears vs. GB
FanDuel Price: $4,300
As I stated above the Packers without Aaron Rodgers is hard to watch, not scoring over 17 points in the three games without him. The Bears defense has also been playing well over the last four weeks as they have scored 52 fantasy points which is the fourth most during that time. The last two games they have held the Saints in the Superdome to 20 points and the Panthers to only three points. This defense gets an easy matchup at home where they have been good this year giving up an average of 16 points a game.
Thanks for Reading and good luck in week 10!
