Egbuka played lights out last week, catching two touchdowns in his first NFL game. The Bucs are playing a much more challenging opponent this week against the Texans, but I think Egbuka sees even more targets than last week. My thought process is that the Texans’ CB Derek Stingley, one of the league’s best defensive backs, will likely be tasked with covering Mike Evans in this contest. The Texans may move people around, but odds are, Mike Evans will be the focus. With injuries to the offensive line, the pass rush from the Texans is a problem. Baker Mayfield is going to want to get the pass out quick, so I like the over in receptions for Egbuka and Tampa servers up a dink and dunk passing attack.

The Texans’ passing game looked rusty last week. CJ Stroud went 19 for 27 for 188 yards. He spread the ball around a lot last game, trying to jump-start the offense, but nothing really got going. The Texans had to settle for three field goals in the red zone, and the team seemed frustrated by its lack of chemistry on offense. This week, I expect better production across the board. The Bucs gave up 298 yards passing to Michael Penix in week one. Penix was also able to complete 27 of his 42 pass attempts, meaning he didn’t rack up all his yardage on a few deep shots, the short yardage passing game worked well, something that I could see C.J Stroud leaning on tonight.
