Eagles LT Peters Arrested For Drag Racing

Philadelphia Eagles Left Tackle Jason Peters was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase exceeding 100 miles an hour. The Eagles big man was caught drag racing at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Jason Peters, who lives in Texas, is known as a car hobbyist. A Daily News story shortly after his arrival in a trade with the Bills listed at least six cars scattered about his yard in Queen City, Texas, many of them rebuilt by Peters.

The Eagles Peters other known arrest came in March 2011, when he was charged with disturbing the peace and resisting arrest while he was in La., for a concert featuring rapper Rick Ross.

Some will say that Chip Kelly’s hurry-up offense is clearly changing the mindset of his players, while others like myself, will just call it a slow news day.
