Dolphins News: Jalen Tolbert Carries Redraft Sleeper Appeal at Current ADP
Wide receiver Jalen Tolbert is entering his first season with the Miami Dolphins in 2026 after spending the first four years of his career with the Dallas Cowboys.
Tolbert saw limited usage in Dallas last season, catching 18 passes for 203 yards and one touchdown on 34 targets across 13 games, with eight starts. That marked a step back from 2024, when he caught 49 passes for 610 yards and seven touchdowns on 79 targets over 17 games.
In Dallas, Tolbert spent last season behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, who joined the Cowboys via trade ahead of the 2025 season. He was eventually passed on the depth chart as well. Miami now offers a different path. The Dolphins used draft capital this offseason on receivers Chris Bell, who is working back from a knee injury, along with Caleb Douglas and Kevin Coleman Jr. Even with that added competition, Tolbert may open the season as Miami’s most experienced and reliable pass-catcher outside of running back De’Von Achane, particularly after the Dolphins moved on from both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle this offseason.
Tolbert is not likely to emerge as a fantasy difference-maker. Miami’s passing game carries real questions entering the season with Malik Willis set to make his first start as the team’s full-time quarterback. Still, opportunity matters, and Tolbert enters camp with a clearer path to targets than he had in Dallas.
At his current redraft average draft position of WR91, Tolbert represents a low-cost, late-round option worth monitoring. He won’t headline anyone’s draft board, but for managers looking to fill out the end of a receiver corps, his path to snaps in Miami gives him a reasonable floor relative to his cost.
