Now, returning to familiar territory, Davis will begin on the practice squad while he continues on his rehab. The Bills’ receiving group has evolved since his departure, but not much. The pass catchers on the roster include Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, Curtis Samuel, Elijah Moore, and Tyrell Shavers. Those additions suggest a deeper rotation, but if healthy, Davis’ path to meaningful snaps is possible.
From a fantasy perspective, Davis has upside if he can regain health and chemistry with Josh Allen. He should be rostered in deep formats as a potential midseason flier, but Week 1 value appears limited given his recovery and initial status. His full impact will depend on how quickly he can make the active roster and carve out a role behind the established pass-catchers.
