Fantasy Football Bold Predictions Week 13
It’s Thanksgiving weekend and there are many matchups to be thankful for this week. The red hot Ravens take on one of the best defenses in the 49ers. The Vikings get a highflying Seahawk team on Monday Night. Even the Texans and Patriots game should be intriguing this week. With all the fun matchups to watch for this week, let’s take a look at some bold predictions.
Lamar Jackson Lights up the 49ers
Quarterback
Lamar Jackson has completely taken this league by storm in his first full year of starting. He’s odds on favorite to win MVP this year and for good reason. He’s been extremely efficient and has taken care of the ball. This week he gets a very tough test as he takes on the 49ers and their dangerous defense. This won’t be a cakewalk by any means, but Jackson will make it look like one. It’s going to be kind of a weird stat line for him. He’ll throw just 13 passes for 150 yards, but he’ll have 15 rushes for 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Kyler Murray Destroys the Rams
Quarterback
Last week saw Lamar Jackson completely torch the Rams defense. This week is Kyler Murray’s turn. The rookie quarterback has had quite a bit of success in his first year. Over the last three games, in particular, have been very productive from a fantasy football perspective. This week, Murray will throw for over 300 yards and rush for over 100 yards. He’ll also have three scores. Two will be through the air and one will be on the ground.
Derrick Henry Continues His Torrid Pace
Running Back
There were quite a few experts in the fantasy football world that warned you not to draft Derrick Henry early this year. If you didn’t listen, you are loving what you are getting out of him. He needs just nine yards to get over the 1000 yard mark this year. Over the last three games, Henry has 410 rushing yards and five touchdowns. This week, he gets a Colts team that is average against the run. Henry will have over 150 rushing yards and will score twice this week to continue his hot pace that he’s on.
Josh Jacobs Bounces Back
Running Back
Josh Jacobs has made his case for Rookie of the Year this year, but last week was a bit of a dud. He had just 34 yards on only 10 carries in the Raiders blowout loss to the New York Jets. This week he gets a Chiefs team that struggles against the run. Jacobs is also eyeing the 1000 yard mark as he is just 43 yards away from it. He’ll hit that and then some as he will rush for over 100 yards and will get in the end zone at least once this week.
D.J. Chark Goes Bananas
Wide Reciever
D.J. Chark has been a darling to have on your team this year. You either picked him up off of waivers early in the year or you drafted him really late and you’ve enjoyed the production he has brought your fantasy team. Last week was a bit of the opposite, however. He caught five passes for just 38 yards. This week will be significantly different. Chark will have a career game against one of the worst secondaries in the league. He’ll have over 200 yards receiving and three touchdowns and will be the WR1 for week 13.
Courtland Sutton Beats Up on the Chargers
Wide Reciever
Courtland Sutton has had a solid little breakout season in his third year. He looks like a wide receiver one on a team and a true alpha type of player. Last week left people wondering why they started him against a good Buffalo Bills defense. Sutton had just one catch for 27 yards. Not exactly what people thought was going to happen. This week will be the polar opposite. Sutton will shred what has been a good Chargers secondary for the injuries it has sustained throughout the year. Getting Derwin James back will be big for them, but won’t be enough to stop Sutton from having over 100 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Gerald Everett Scores Twice
Tight End
Gerald Everett has quietly been a good play this year based on what matchup he gets and this week he gets a tremendous matchup. He takes on a Cardinals team that has been torched by tight ends all year long. With the question marks on this entire Rams team, Jared Goff is going to need a get right game eventually. This may be the week if he can try to exploit the matchup with Everett. Goff is going to find Everett for two scores this week and will be a great streaming option for your fantasy team.
