It’s time, and this time it is a divisional battle. Fun fact: The NFC West is the only division where every team is above .500. Three teams are tied with a 2-1 record, while the San Francisco 49ers (who have beaten both of these teams) sit atop the division at 3-0.
Enough of the frivolities, let’s get to this showdown. The home team, the Cardinals, started as a 1.5 favorite with -112 on the moneyline. The Seahawks are -108 on the moneyline with the over/under currently at 43.5, and the Seahawks are now a 1.5 road favorite.

NFL Showdown $15K Pylon, Single Entry
Okay, Ohio State University, two of your best receivers are going to be going against each other…who you got?
It’s a short week, so injuries will be paramount. For the Cardinals, cornerback Will Johnson was inactive Sunday, as was left tackle Paris Johnson. Wide receiver Zay Jones is in concussion protocol, and running back James Conner is out for the season.
For Seattle, per ESPN, the Seahawks’ list cornerback Devon Witherspoon. Safeties Julian Love and Nick Emmanwori are questionable. Defensive end Leonard Williams was also listed as questionable.
But great news if you are a Seahawks fan, Witherspoon and Love are set to play, as is Williams. Check pregame reports to be sure.
Captain
There is both good news and not-so-good news for the captain position. The good news is that both offenses are concentrated. The not-so-great news is that the odds have shifted from -2.5 for Seattle to -1.5 for Arizona, while the over/under remains at a solid 43.5.
So the odd makers are predicting a defensive slug fest with the Seahawks making up ground for the favorite.

- Seattle’s defense has five interceptions in four games.
- Running backs have collected 73 (McCaffrey), 86 (Warren), and 14 (Kamara) receiving yards against the Seattle defense.
- Against the Arizona defense, tight end Juwan Johnson had eight receptions for 76 yards, receiver Tetairoa McMillan had six receptions for 100 yards, and receiver Ricky Pearsall had eight receptions for 117 yards.
- RB1s have avg 4.1 (Kamara), 3.8 (Chuba Hubbard), and 3.1 (McCaffrey) yards per attempt against the Arizona defense.
- Cornerback Will Johnson is listed as DNP, and Darren Hall is listed as limited.

This lineup nods to the fact that Seattle has owned Arizona, that Johnson will be out, and that Seattle has the third-best run defense, allowing an average of 3.2 ypa. They also have Byron Murphy II, who leads all defensive tackles with 13 pressures, while the defense has the fourth-best quarterback pressure rate at 44.3%.

- The use of Horton was to jam as many chalk players on the Seattle side in the lineup as possible.
- Don’t hate the idea of using Walker or Smith-Njigba as captain, but then you are limiting the rest of the field.
- Of course, if you think that the Cardinals can overcome Seattle’s defense, using McBride, Murray, or, if you are feeling really frisky, Harrison as captain is completely viable (I will have another single does just that)!
- And remember, it is a Thursday Night Showdown, which generally favors the home team.
- I really, really want to add the Cardinals kicker, who is coming in at $4800, so this lineup is subject to change.
