Projected Ownership Percentages: Week 4
Gridiron Experts not only provides our premium and platinum members with Fanduel and DraftKings projected ownership percentage data, but shows them how to use that data effectively to create the best DFS lineups. Getting your hands on ownership percentage is a very valuable source of information in daily fantasy and can give you the winning edge when deciding on who to pick in your GPP lineups.
What is Fanduel Ownership Percentage?
If you enter an NFL daily tournament which includes Thursday players at Fanduel, you are shown the player ownership percentage data once the game is live. You simply click on the player to get more information, and Fanduel will tell you the percentage of ownership for that player in the contest you are in.
You can then use this data when making your lineups for Sunday GPP lineups.
Now, obviously, this is just a helpful guide as there will be a slight change in the player ownership percentage data from the Thursday games to the Sunday games, but for the most part, the information is very close.

But Wait, Didn’t Fanduel Cancel the Data?
Fanduel has made the decision NOT to provide Ownership Percentages of players for games that have not played. So you will know the data, but not until after a game has started.
Gridiron Experts has invested in creating projected daily fantasy ownership percentage data by buying lineups and using a process of elimination along with price point budgeting and Vegas odds each week to create a near perfect replacement.
After three weeks of testing, we feel the results are just as good, and considering how exclusive they now are as the rest of the public don’t have the same access, we feel our Premium Members have an edge to creating the best DFS lineups.
Recapping Week 3
Everyone just had to have Chargers wide receivers in their DFS lineups week 3, the result was very pedestrian. Travis Benjamin managed to haul in just four catches for 82 yards with one fumble lost. He was heavily own by many Daily Fantasy Week 3 players last Sunday. Our projected ownership data for Lions wide Receiver Marvin Jones was 11.38% for DraftKings, and 10.65% for Fanduel. The actual retail price was slightly less, making him the winner in the most popular owned contest. Bang for buck Jones was a great play, but coming in as a close second, and costing only a little more was T.Y Hilton who had one hell of a day.
Emmanuel Sanders had just as great of a day as Marvin Jones yet was barely owned, the combo together would have destroyed any contest you joined. But our bargain of the week had to have been Jamison Crowder. If you had him in your lineup you were one of only a few, as he was hardly owned in Daily Fantasy contests last week. Crowder cost peanuts but still manged to have strong daily stats. Adding a player like Crowder would have allowed you to be able to save a few bucks and spend it elsewhere to add more elite talent to your lineup.[wlm_nonmember]
