9 Best Single Game Fantasy Football Performances of 2018
Best Fantasy Football Performances: 2018
This NFL season was filled with big performances from rising stars. Some proved they should have been drafted higher, others watched their dynasty value soar. Let’s take a look back at some of the best fantasy football performances from this past season.
Week 2 @ Pittsburgh Steelers | 38.8 PPR Points
There were numerous games from Mahomes that could have been selected. The game in Week 2 against the Steelers takes the cake though. Mahomes threw for 326 yards and six touchdowns. Six! That’s just one shy of tying the NFL record in a single game which is held by stars like Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Nick Foles, and others. He had 38.8 fantasy points this week, which was the most points Mahomes had in a single week all season. An early indicator of things to come for the fantasy owners.

Week 12 vs. Seattle Seahawks | 46.7 PPR Points
Talk about a week winner! McCaffrey completely shredded the Seahawks defense both through the air and on the ground in Week 12. He rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. He also added 11 catches for 112 yards and a receiving touchdown. It was one of the best performances from a running back this year and set owners apart from their opponents at the most important time of the fantasy football season.

Week 11 @ Los Angeles Rams | 43.5 PPR Points
Another Chief that could be discussed more than once. Hill was a human cheat code all year and a big part of the great year the Chiefs had. His best week though came when he torched the Rams for 215 yards and two scores on 10 receptions. There was a lot to love about this game, as the Chiefs and Rams combined for 105 points on Monday Night Football. But Hill was the star of this game and won a lot of matchups for owners in the last game of the week.

Week 9 vs. Los Angeles Rams | 39.1 PPR Points
Another game in which the Rams were scorched through the air. Brees and Thomas hooked up 12 times to the tune of 211 yards and a touchdown. This week was his highest scoring fantasy week with 39.1 points. Just 1.1 points better than his Week 1 performance against the Bucs where he tallied 16 catches for 180 yards and a score. Thomas was as reliable as they come all year, but Week 9 was the week he dominated for your fantasy team.

Week 13 @ Oakland Raiders | 38.8 PPR Points
One more Chief to add to these outstanding performances this year. Kelce had his season high in receptions, yards and touchdowns against the Raiders. Mahomes found him 12 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Production like this from a tight end is sure to win fantasy matchups. Kelce may have set himself apart from every other tight end this year with all the highlight performances he had this year, but Week 13 was by far the highest of highs for him.

Week 6 @ Denver Broncos | 36.5 PPR Points
Gurley was a human highlight reel for most of the entire season. There were quite a few games that could have been chosen. But Week 6 against the Broncos seems like the best choice. Gurley rushed 28 times for 208 yards and two touchdowns. Gurley carried the Rams on his shoulders to a close victory that week, but he carried fantasy teams to an easy Week 6 win.
The best RB in the league?

Week 6 @ Cleveland Browns | 35.0 PPR Points
There were a lot of questions surrounding how well Gordon would perform this year. It may have been solidified before Week 6, but he definitely put a stamp on it when he trumped the Browns for 132 yards and three touchdowns on just 18 carries. Gordon was electrifying as he carried the Chargers to a sure victory and put fantasy teams in a great position to win their Week 6 matchup.

Week 4 @ New York Giants | 41.1 PPR Points
Kamara may have been a bit more inconsistent than owners would have liked this year, but there’s no denying he had one of the best performances in Week 4 against the Giants. Kamara put up three touchdowns and rushed for 134 yards on 19 carries. He also had five catches for 47 yards which was huge for PPR leagues. It’s crazy to think that Kamara’s value could get any higher than it is currently, but with the possible departure of Ingram, Kamara could see more weeks in 2019 like Week 4 against the Giants.
The Giants couldn't stop Alvin Kamara!

Week 14 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars | 47.8 PPR Points
Always save the best for last. How could anyone forget this performance by Henry? He was tossing around Jaguar defenders like they were nothing. He broke off a 99-yard run which stands as the longest run in NFL history. It’s safe to say this was the top performance of the year. Henry capped the night off with a total of 238 rushing yards including four rushing touchdowns. Owners after this Thursday Night Football game could claim victory as soon as the game ended.
This is UNREAL.
I’ve watched 10 times already. @Titans RB Derrick Henry, in a jaw-dropping display of beastliness, joins Tony Dorsett as the only players in #NFL history with a 99-yard TD run. h/t @NFLResearch #TitanUp pic.twitter.com/gA5Wudt3Si
