7 Players to Consider in FanDuel Cash Games in Week 15

Fanduel: Early Look for Week 15

3 weeks left. Only 3 more weeks of the regular season. This 2018-2019 NFL season has flown by and now we are counting down to the end of the year. The focus down the stretch has not changed since week one. I want to win you some money. As we look into the upcoming week there are 10 teams that are unavailable to the main slate, the Chiefs, Chargers, Browns, Texans, Jets, Broncos, Eagles, Rams, Saints, and Panthers. The Browns, Texans, Jets, and Broncos are playing on Saturday this week.  With that in mind, here are my 7 players to consider in FanDuel cash games for week 15.

Quarterback

Nick Mullens

$6,600 vs Seahawks

I am officially on the Nick Mullens is the greatest quarterback alive bandwagon! Now, I will say I don’t actually believe he is but for a guy like Mullens to work his way into the starting lineup and perform as he has, makes me root for the guy. How can you not like the guy? Anyways, I will give you some statistical love to show why Mullens should be considered. First things first, the Seahawks have allowed the 7th most points to QBs since week 11. In the week 13 matchup, Mullens threw for 414 yards and 2 touchdowns. I don’t anticipate another 400 yard game from Mullens but another 300-yard day and a couple scores are within reach.

Andrew Luck

$8,100 vs Cowboys

This is not a matchup that screams huge numbers for Andrew Luck. However, Luck has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the NFL. He has scored 22 points in 9 of his last 10 games. Over the last 4 home games, Luck is averaging 270.25 yards and 3.25 touchdowns. The last 4 games the Cowboys have played on the road, the defense has allowed 301 passing yards per game. The Colts running game struggles which leads to a massive amount of pass attempts. I don’t expect much success against this stout Cowboys run defense which should lead to more opportunities for Luck in the passing game.

Runningback

Jaylen Samuels

$5,500 vs Patriots

Jaylen Samuels was a popular player last week in season-long and DFS. He received the majority of snaps and also 18 touches. Samuels price has not gone up enough to keep me away from him this week as he gets the Patriots. The Pats defense has allowed 21.63 points per game to opposing backfields over the last 4 weeks. The Patriots typically attempt to shut down an opposing team’s best player which should lead to plenty of opportunities for Samuels. The Steelers should get him the football early and often in what amounts to a must-win for the Steelers. At just $5,500, Samuels allows you to fit studs into your lineup.

Leonard Fournette

$8,200 vs Redskins

Leonard Fournette failed to produce in week 14 and very likely cost you cost you a playoff win last week. This week, Fournette will face off with the Redskins who are more of a mess than Jacksonville. The Jaguars will continue to run the football because that is what they do best. That and the fact that the Redskins are allowing the 5th most points to running backs since week 11. Prior to last week, Fournette had scored 5 touchdowns in 3 games and topped 100 total yards in each of those games. Fournette is the best player on the offense and will continue to be the focal point moving forward.

Wide Receiver

Julian Edelman

$7,200 at Steelers

Julian Edelman has taken over as the number 1 receiver for the Patriots. Tom Brady has gone back to where he is comfortable and that is throwing the ball the Edelman. He has had at least 7 targets in all but one game this season while catching a touchdown pass in 2 of his last 3 games. Over the last 3 games, the Steelers have allowed an average of 8.7 catches, 103.3 yards, and 0.7 touchdowns to slot receivers. The Steelers have a solid pass rush and will attempt to get after Brady requiring him to get rid of the ball quickly. Edelman will be the recipient of the quick hitting passes and should push for double-digit targets.

Adam Thielen

$8,200 vs Dolphins

Adam Thielen started the season on fire and has chilled slightly since then only topping 70 yards once in the last 5 games. This is a week that should see Thielen getting targeted often. Xavien Howard should provide shadow coverage on Stefon Diggs which should lead to increased opportunities for Thielen. Bobby McCain will be in coverage most of the day against Thielen which is good news for Thielen. Over the last 4 weeks, the Dolphins have allowed the 4th most points to receivers. The Vikings are in need of a win this week and should turn to their most reliable offensive weapon to get the job done.

Tight End

Cameron Brate

$5,400 at Ravens

The Ravens are seen as a stout defense and one that many try to avoid. Their weak spot is defending against the tight end. They have allowed the 5th most points to tight ends over the last 4 weeks. The Buccaneers are a pass-first offense and will attack through the air in this game. They should go after the weak spot of the Ravens defense which is the tight ends. Brate has been very touchdown dependent this season but this is a week that should see Brate become the focal point.

Good luck in week 15! Make it into your championship games and win some cash while you are at it in week 15.
