Westbrook’s Sour Grapes

Westbrook’s Sour Grapes

You could say that Brian Westbrook’s release this week has left him with a bad taste in his mouth. Today the ex-Philadelphia Eagle running back told The Waddle & Silvy Show on ESPN 1000 in Chicago that he wouldn’t be surprised to see Donovan McNabb traded or released soon.

“It wouldn’t shock me at all if he got traded or released,”

“I know that he is very unappreciated in Philadelphia. . . . He’s definitely unappreciated for the things that he does and the things that he brings to Philadelphia.” Westbrook said

Westbrook obviously wants to say; that he feels unappreciated for all the things  done in Philadelphia, but has for some reason involved the Eagles QB. McNabb always seems to be used as the microphone for the media in that city, fans and players. People don’t say: “what a ugly day out today” they say “McNabb said it was suppose to be sunny”

Brian Westbrook had also mentioned he was surprised that the team didn’t want to just re-do his contract, hinting that he would have taken less money to remain apart of the team.

We have been waiting to use this picture for a while… Brain’s comments sound very much like something some old guy would say.

Eat it 36, karma from the fantasy football year you kneeled on the 2 yardline and costed me a championship
