Week 7 NFL Power Rankings

Week 7 NFL Power Rankings

1. Pittsburgh (4-1)- Dominant, healthy defense and now the return of their Pro Bowl QB

2. NY Jets (5-1)- The defense is great, but the real surprise has been Sanchez’s play and LT

3. New England (4-1)- Loss of Moss and the 29th ranked pass defense are concerns

4. NY Giants (4-2)- NFC East co-leaders have the #2 defense in the NFL

5. New Orleans (4-2)- Defending Champs finally looked better on offense in Week 6

6. Philadelphia (4-2)- Andy Reid has a nice situation with 2 capable QB’s..or is it a problem?

7. Baltimore (4-2)- Tough loss against an elite Patriots team raises some defensive concerns

8. Indianapolis (4-2)- Very tough for a team with this poor of a defense to win in January

9. Tennessee (4-2)- Will need Vince Young healthy to stay this high in the rankings

10. Atlanta (4-2)- Falcons need to get Michael Turner going; Much better home team

11. Houston (4-2)- Best fantasy situation: Studs on offense and a horrible defense = points

12. Kansas City (3-2)- 2 hard fought road losses say a lot about this team; AFC West favorites

13. Chicago (4-2)- Huge disappointing  loss at home to Seattle. Should bounce back Week 7

14. Miami (3-2)- Tough road win in Green Bay says this team is better than we thought

15. Green Bay (3-3)- Injuries are really taking a toll on the Packers offense

16. Washington (3-3)- Certainly better with McNabb, but pass defense is really hurting

17. St. Louis (3-3)- Sam Bradford has looked great, and really helped the Rams be respectable

18. San Diego (2-4)- Most disappointing team in the league..some thought they would be 6-0

19. Minnesota (2-3)- Favre is hurting and the offense has struggled because of it

20. Cincinnati (2-3)- Carson Palmer just can’t throw anymore; and the offense is struggling

21. Arizona (3-2)- If Max Hall can play hand the ball off well, could win weak NFC West

22. Seattle (3-2)- Ahead of where we thought they would be, considering the roster turnover

23. Tampa Bay (3-2)- Reality starting to set back in. Saints totally dominated them at home

24. Denver (2-4)- The Passing game is putting up great yards, but not getting enough TD’s

25. Jacksonville (3-3)- Thoroughly beaten by the Titans at home in a huge prime-time game

26. Dallas (1-4)- Amazing that this talented team is this poor, and in a deep division

27. San Francisco (1-5)- Finally got a win, but it was against a poor Raiders squad

28. Detroit (1-5)- Get the bye week to get Stafford back at quarterback

29. Oakland (2-4)- On their way to an amazing 8th consecutive year with 11+ losses

30. Cleveland (1-5)- Have actually played fairly well; McCoy looked better than expected

31. Buffalo (0-5)- As bad as they have been, their offense isn’t the worst…

32. Carolina (0-5) Nothing is going right for the Panthers pathetic offense. Fox has lost team
