The UFL is a brand new football league that is forming quietly right under our noses. The League has spent very little on getting the word out about teams, players and rules and yet has recruited a handful of respectable coaches around the league including: Jim Haslett, Jim Fassel, and Dennis Green. PFT.com is reporting that the UFL Draft might be tonight, but with no announcements on the leagues web site this could be a rumor.


Here are a few players that look like they’re playing in the UFL this year: Quinn Gray,Tim Rattay, David Boston, Reche Caldwell, Travis Taylor, Jermaine Wiggins, and RB LaBrandon Toefield. Nothing is definite as I’m sure any of these ex-NFL players would bolt to the first NFL team that calls them, but for now they’re planning on joining this new league. There are also rumors that Michael Vick and J.P. Losman might play for a UFL team if they can’t find jobs, which could be good for the league, adding some real name recognition.
