Brian Westbrook To Have Surgery

Philadelphia Eagles Mr. Everything Brian Westbrook is scheduled to have surgery to clean up some bone spurs in his right ankle. The timeline for his recovery is set to be close to the start of the regular season. The Eagles sent Westbrook to Baltimore on Wednesday to see Dr. Mark Myerson, the ankle specialist who treated Terrell Owens five years ago. Westbrook also had surgery on his left knee three months earlier, which could become the beginning of a long list of setbacks in store for this aging running back.
