It was a mystery versus history weekend in the National Football League. The enigma surrounding the winless Miami Dolphins upsetting the hot Kansas City Chiefs is baffling, the sleeper Cincinnati Bengals standing at 6-2 and the Giants stunning the Patriots.
Seven weeks down and the tables are beginning to turn. This week showcased the strengths and weaknesses of almost every team. The façade may finally be fading away. Teams who were once thought dominant (Redskins, Raiders, Lions) seem to be slowly turning into the teams we thought they were.
Week 6 is in the books and the sloppy blowouts and terrible night games are over. Is it me, or do they need to figure out how to start flexing games a lot earlier, not to mention figuring out a way to get good Monday night games together
I usually have the Power Rankings ready for Tuesday morning, but with all the upsets and 4-0 Lions to try to figure out, I needed extra time. I still believe we will have a handful of teams that can pull a complete 180 and either eat sh!t or run the table. This year has been just too hard to figure out.
I really can’t find a reason to move this team out of the top spot. If Tom Brady can throw for 400 yards against the Bills week3 he will top the record books for most consecutive games with 400+ yards.
