Week 5 Fantasy Projections: Packers vs. Redskins
Green Bay Packers vs. Washington Redskins Bring on the fantasy points! This meeting of gunslingers features fantasy elite Aaron Rodgers and sleeper veteran Donovan McNabb. D-Mac has still got a cannon of an arm and will surely need it this week against a Packers team that will exploit a poor Skins secondary. McNabb doesn’t have the receivers he had in Philly, but with Santana Moss being shut down in a tight win last week, the game plan will be focused more on reconnecting the Moss-McNabb combo. Santana Moss is one of our “Start’em” players in week 5. Both defense’s have holes that will become a problem this week. Injuries will cause substitutes to try and…
Week 4 Fantasy Projections: Lions vs. Packers
Detroit Lions 0-3 vs. 2-1 Green Bay Packers This NFC North show down has a lot of fantasy implications. Detroit looked to be a dream fantasy team the first couple of games: a high scoring offense paired with a lousy defense. Unfortunate with Matt Stafford out, and rookie Jahvid Best ailing, the Lions have lost some offensive punch. The defense has remained lousy, which suits the Green Bay Packers just fine. The Packers have not lost to the Lions at Lambeau since 1991. That was before Brett Favre. The current Lions have a 22 game road losing streak. Everything is setting up for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to have a big game on Sunday….

On Saturday night, the NFL Network let me take a break from the psychic friends hot-line, putting down the never-ending flipping of draft mags to re-live a memory from 1998. Favre vs. Elway, Packers vs. Broncos, Super Bowl XXXII was one of my favorite games of all time. You know that feeling where you get a chance to reminisce on the past, and prefer the memories. Seeing things in a different light and not having it…
Aaron Rodgers: 2010 Elite Fantasy QB?
It was quite an infamous moment in the NFL when Aaron Rodgers got his first start in the 2008 season. With that first snap he signified the replacement of Brett Favre as the Green Bay Packers QB of the future, and hasn’t looked back since. In 2008 Rodgers recorded 28 touchdowns, 29 in 2009 and just to pad the stats, Rodgers punched in 9 rushing TD’s in those two years, that’s more than some running backs!
Rodgers has now earned himself a number one fantasy QB ranking on NFL.com over the likes of Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Peyton Manning. He’s skyrocketing up rankings
