R.I.P. Chris Henry

Wide receiver Chris Henry from the Cincinnati Bengals died Thursday, one day after falling out of the back of a pickup truck during what police said was a domestic dispute with his fiancee.
The young receiver had been placed on IR after a promising start to the year.
Throughout his football career, Henry’s temper and poor decisions got him in trouble. He was ejected from a game and suspended for another while at West Virginia, where former coach Rich Rodriguez told Henry that he was an embarrassment to himself and the program. Henry’s reputation already was costing him — the Bengals were the only NFL team to bring him in for a pre-draft visit in 2005.
Henry had all the talent in the world, and it’s a real shame his life was lost in such a tragic event.

I saw the news this morning. What a pity.maybe we must think more about the safe of the players.right? There might be second chances, hopeful signs, promising trends. Redemption could truly be in sight. Henry had them all with the Cincinnati Bengals, and he was still only 26. “He was thankful for what he had in life, and proud of what he had overcome,” a statement from his agents would say.
Amen…..
