Projections, Picks & Results Week 13Broncos_Cheerleaders

Each Tuesday we get out the old marker and grade all of our fantasy predictions and picks from a full week of NFL action.

Fantasy Start’em Sit’em

Right on:check mark

  • Start Brandon Jacobs- The New York Giant himself has been a fantasy bust up until this week, and we hope you took our advice on starting him at home against the Cowboys. Brandon Jacobs had 39 yards and a touchdown along with a huge 74 yard catch and run for a TD!
  • Start Jamaal Charles- This start’em pick was one of our late changes with the injury to Justin Forsett (although he had a good day too). The Chiefs played terrible but Charles as a sleeper had good fantasy numbers: 53 yards and a TD.
  • Start Matt Forte- The other pick as our fantasy sleeper, Forte had a strong day for a guy who’s been riding your bench: 91 yards and TD.
  • Start Brandon Marshall- This Denver wide receiver is usually hit or miss, but against the Chiefs Marshall was great: 94 yards and a TD.
  • Bench Jay Cutler- 143 yards and a TD. What do you want to bet the Bears draft a receiver in the off-season?
  • Bench Chris Beanie Wells- Despite an ass kicking over the Vikings, Wells was stuck on the sidelines or running average routes: 13 carries for 28 yards.
  • Start Tony Gonzalez- Great day considering the Falcons were smoked: 8 Rec 72 yards.

Whoops:CheckMarkX

  • Start T. Houshmandzadeh- Seattle spread the ball around too much to make Housh’s numbers any good.
  • Start Chris Redman- What a nightmare.
  • Start Dustin Keller- caught the first pass…then did nothing (SOB).
  • Start Terrell Owens- What a boring game, and what a bad performance from the Bills offense. Sure T.O. is going up against one of the best CB’s in the game, but use bunch formations or WR screens to get this guy the ball.

On the Fence:

  • Start Matt Schaub- The Texans QB only played 3 quarters due to an injury on the first play.
  • Start Carson Palmer- Not great numbers but definitely not a bad call.
  • Bench Donald Driver- The TD saved the week but we were right about the Ravens zoning in on him: 31 yards, TD and a fumble.
  • Start Sleeper Rock Cartwright- 70 total yards isn’t bad.

Picks

Straight Up Picks: 11-5
