Projections, Picks & Results Week 12

Each Tuesday we get out the old marker and grade all of our fantasy predictions and picks from a full week of NFL action.

Fantasy Start’em Sit’em

Right on:

• Start Alex Smith- Great fantasy sleeper 232 yards and 2 touchdowns. Alex Smith sat on a lot of bench’s this week but turned out to have better numbers than most top quarterbacks.
• Start Marion Barber- Fantasy owners didn’t get what they wanted, but 100 total yards will have to do. After seeing Felix Jones tear up the yards and steal a touchdown Barber owners should be cautious from this point on.
• Bench Eli Manning- Gridiron Experts was 3-0 on Thanksgiving and our fantasy advice was on fire too. Eli was terrible mile high, throwing an interception and 230 yards.
• Bench Falcons RB’s- Nailed it… Turner 33 yards, Norwood 22 yards and Smelling 8 yards.
• Start Shady McCoy- 76 rushing yards with a two point conversion and 25 yards receiving. McCoy is becoming a great go-to weapon and gaining a lot of fantasy value.
• Start Donald Driver- Jennings has now become the number 2 guy in Green Bay. Driver is having a Pro Bowl type year and a has been wicked for fantasy owners. 142 yards and touchdown.
• Start Robert Meachem- Huge sleeper call and monster numbers on Monday night against the Patriots. 116 yards 1TD
• Bench Hines Ward- While we didn’t know at the time cheeseburger was going to sit, the Ravens defense was planning to shut down Ward from the get go.
• Start Rashard Mendenhall- 95 yards rushing and 22 yards receiving is more than many people were expecting.

Whoops:

• Sleeper RB Correll Buckhalter- Knowshon bounced back but Buck was a carry away from punching in a touchdown.
• Start Sleeper Mark Sanchez- Jets looked good but Sanchez got dirty and his numbers weren’t good.

On the Fence:

• Start Michael Crabtree- 54 yards is good, but not great.

Picks

Straight Up Picks: 14-2 Great Week ! Although the greed for upsets cost us a win by taking the Texans
