Projections, Picks & Results Week 11 Cheerleaders

Each Tuesday we get out the old marker and grade all of our fantasy predictions and picks from a full week of NFL action.

Fantasy Start’em Sit’em

Right on:check mark

  • Start Ben Roethlisberger:  396 passing yards and 3 TDs, Oh! And a concussion and embarrassing loss to Chiefs.
  • Start Kurt Warner: Despite playing only half a game due to injury, Warner still had good numbers: 200 yards and 2 TD’s. People wanted more, but you should be thankful for what you got considering he got hurt.
  • Start Matt Schaub: Heart breaker loss but huge fantasy numbers: 305 yards 2 TD’s.
  • Start Ricky Williams: We were even surprised with the output that Williams had, but against the Panthers any running game looks good: 130+total yards and 3 TD’s.
  • Start Ray Rice: Didn’t find the endzone but had 64 rushing yards and 71 receiving yards.
  • Start Sleeper Jason Snelling: Not many people started this gotta-have waiver wire pick-up on the road against the Giants, but the ones who did are laughing. Snelling smelled the endzone twice and had 80 total yards.
  • Bench Matt Forte: I wish we had the inside scoop on Kahlil Bell, but we did know the Eagles front four is better than people give them credit for.
  • Bench Matt Hasselbeck: Ouch! 230 yards and a pick; even after the game was out of reach, Hasselbeck couldn’t get much done.
  • Start Sidney Rice: 89 yards and 2 TD’s! Huge day and on pace to be one of the best fantasy sleeper receivers of ’09.
  • Start Terrell Owens: That’s right! We said start T.O.! And it paid off (for once). You had to figure with the coaching change the ball was going to find the star WR: 9 rec, 197 yards and a TD.
  • Start Steve Slaton: 63 total yards and a touchdown, good fantasy week.
  • Bench Braylon Edwards: 1 catch for 10 yards…yeah good call.

Whoops:CheckMarkX

  • Start Henne in a sleeper role: Looks like the Wildcat will continue with Smokey the Bear (R. Williams).
  • Start Ladell Betts: The guy got hurt in the first quarter.
  • Double Sleeper Start either: Jason Avant or Roy E Williams- Would you believe me if I said we were going to pick Patrick Crayton? Oh well, Avant came through big with a touchdown.
  • New Era (eFashion Solutions)

Picks

Straight Up Picks: 12-4 Great Week ! Although the greed for upsets cost us a win by taking the Rams (it was close, c’mon man)

Picks vs. the Spread: 11-5 ** We are going to start up “money where your mouth is” again in week 12 (which is 9-3 on the year)

Overall : 106-55 | ATS: 89-72
