Projections, Picks & Results Week 10

Each Tuesday we get out the old marker and grade all of our fantasy predictions and picks from a full week of NFL action.

Fantasy Start’em Sit’em

Right on:check markFree NFL PICKS

  • Start Philip Rivers against the Eagles. Rivers didn’t have to do as much as we had thought, as the Eagles defense was so depleted. 20|25 for 231 yards and 2 TD’s
  • Start Donovan McNabb on the road. Despite what Eagles fans may think, McNabb played excellent despite the terrible plays that were sent into the huddle from the Philadelphia coaching staff. 450 yards 2 TD
  • Bench Santana Moss: We were a week early on the Fred Davis sleeper pick, but Moss was bang on for a terrible day. 2 catches for 8 yards.
  • Start Thomas Jones: Not great but good enough: 77 yards 1 TD
  • Bench Matt Ryan: 224 yards 1 TD and 2 INT’s- The Falcons continue to struggle on the road this season.
  • Start Brett Favre: Great day 344 yards and 1 TD
  • Start Sleeper RB Chris Beanie Wells: Great call here, Wells had his best fantasy day of the year with an impressive 85 yards on the ground, 2 Rushing TD’s and 32 yards receiving
  • Start Pierre Garcon: Excellent fantasy prediction as Garcon had his best day in weeks- 3 Rec, 50 Yards and 1 TD
  • Start Steve Breaston: More yards than Fitzgerald? Well, he had 6 more yards than Larry (it still sounds impressive)- 79 yards a 1TD
  • Start Sleeper- Jeremy Maclin: Looked bleak at first but the kid found the endzone and had some good yards- 76 yards and 1 TD

Whoops:CheckMarkX

  • Start Sleeper QB Matt Cassel: Cassel couldn’t find the endzone
  • Start Pierre Thomas: Some guy named Reggie Bush had a big day…weird.
  • Start Vincent Jackson: What happened? 1 catch 10 yards
  • Start Vernon Davis: 49ers fans were happy last Thursday but fantasy owners were bummed
  • Start Sleeper Pick-up Ben Watson: Not great but it’s something-36 yards
  • Bench Ladell Betts: Suprise upset of the day gave Betts great fantasy numbers 114yards 1TD

On the Fence

  • Start Trent Edwards: Vanilla numbers- 185 yards 1 TD

Picks

Straight Up Picks: 8-7  Tough week with 7 upsets

Picks vs. the Spread: 6-9
