Opening WeekendNFLShop.com

Sept. 10 Tennessee at Pittsburgh NBC 8:30 p.m.
Sept. 13 Chicago at Green Bay NBC 8:30 p.m.
Sept. 14 Buffalo at New England ESPN 7 p.m.
Sept. 14 San Diego at Oakland ESPN 10:15 p.m

Thanksgiving

Nov. 26 Green Bay at Detroit FOX 12:30 p.m.
Nov. 26 Oakland at Dallas CBS 4:15 p.m.
Nov. 26 N.Y. Giants at Denver NFL Network 8:20 p.m.

I’ve got to say, I’m not that thrilled with the NFL sneak peek. The opening game is great, but a New England home game for Monday night, followed by the Raiders and Chargers? C’mon! Why did Detroit get a Thanksgiving game? I thought they were going to do away with that! I’m sleeping in that day. Where are the NFC East Battles, or the Colts, Saints, and Cardinals? You always want to start the season off with an offensive bang, don’t you?

    Wheelman said,

The Pack at Detroit on turkeybird day, is pretty traditional and I like it. But, the MaraMen at Denver???????
How exciting can that be? The Jets in the Mile-High City maybe, at least it’d be the same conference. Why not just send the Giants to Amsterdam to play the Admirals?
