NFL Recap: Feel Bad For “Blank”
Joe Flacco and the Ravens- The referees were throwing as many flags for phantom penalties as the quarterbacks were throwing completions. Tom Brady is not an endangered species and should not get special treatment in the pocket. Rodney Harrison even called Brady out for being a girl (video clip). A great game that came down to the wire, but a dropped pass on fourth down stopped the Ravens comeback.
Jeff Fisher-
The longest tenure with one team among active head coaches in the league, fresh off a season where the Titans go 13-3, and now Jeff Fisher has to coach this? The Titans have given up, and for some reason Vince Young didn’t come in at half time when it was 27-3. It’s not going to get any better either: the Titans face the Colts and Patriots before getting their bye week.
Browns Fans-
What’s it like being a Cleveland Browns fan? 4 wins in their last 20 games, and only one win at home in the last 2 years. You don’t have cheerleaders, your logo is an orange helmet even though you’re the Browns, and you have man-gina as your head coach.
Steve Spagnuolo-
Maybe you shouldn’t have jumped the gun on the coaching job Steve. The Rams have been shut out twice in 4 weeks and have only scored 24 points in 4 games.
