NFL Pigskin Picks Week 11
Amazing that we are entering the 11th week of the NFL season, and there are still so many teams that are difficult to figure out. Most the time this late into the season fans and pick’em experts have a pretty good idea of who’s who. The 2011 season has been hardly an open book.
Last week there were 6 upsets, some were hardly huge headlines with many spreads 3 points or less, still the Eagles 14 point favorites at home and the Ravens a 7 point favorite in Seattle was enough for people to break out the “C’mon Man”.
This week, at least on paper seems like we should see more roller-coaster upsets with most the favorites about to do battle on the road. Home field advantage hasn’t been overly powerful this season, in fact we have had an amazingly high number of road wins in 2011. Last week Kevin Roberts and Ahmed Helmy were the leaders for the week with 10 wins straight up. While Michael Light and Ahmed Helmy had an impressive 9-7 record against the spread.
