Monday Morning Blues: Links After Weekend Drinks

Mondays suck no matter where you work. But as of now, we’re looking at a 71 day countdown to the start of the NFL Season. -That’s not too bad. I’m also guessing you got some vacation time coming up, so cheer up, it’s time to wake up and start this week.

Quick NFL Fantasy News Update

Adrian Peterson: Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities believes it’s “a given” that the Vikings will limit Adrian Peterson’s (ACL, MCL, meniscus surgery) early-season workload if he’s available for Week 1. Fantasy Factor:  It’s an absoulte lock that Adrian Peterson’s ADP is coming down in our next RB Fantasy Rankings update.

Matt Forte: Forte told the Chicago Sun Times that he’s seeking a deal similar to LeSean McCoy and Arian Foster’s. Fantasy Factor:  The tactics seem to be changing, but talking through the right channels is a good start. Obviously, there is a due date for Forte’s fantasy season. Chris Johnson held out last year long enough to spoil his season. Missing important practice time can hurt, so someone needs to start a timer for when Forte drags this out long enough to start to hurt his fantasy value.
