McNabb Gets Paid

Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to restructure the final two years of his contract for a $5.3 million raise. While many thought McNabb was after a long term extension, a raise seemed to make all problems go away. McNabb will not add any more years onto being an Eagle, but with this added cash, the penalites to let him go would be too great on the Eagle’s salary cap. So in a way,  it’s proof that he’s in Philly for another two years. I give it 4 weeks into the regular season before some reporter bends and twists McNabb’s words into saying he wants out.
