Buffalo at Tennessee-6.5

The Titans are on a hot streak and should have a fan base behind them this weekend. This season may be a set up for a strong 2010 campaign with Vince Young as the team’s leader. Although, Chris Johnson does make a quarterbacks job easy with his blazing speed. The Bills are a disaster ready to happen; so far the Terrell Owens project has been a bust, along with the hurry up offense and defensive scheme. Neither team is playoff bound but at least the Titans have accepted their fate. We see a scrambling, desperate Bills team imploding on the road this week while the Titans will try to continue racking up wins for a miracle playoff spot, but more or less just win one at home for their fans. Titans 23-21

Philadelphia at San Diego-2.5

This is easily the toughest game to predict. The Eagles will have Westbrook back, which should relieve many of the duties assigned to rookie running back LeSean McCoy. After re-watching the Cowboys/Eagles game on NFL replay, you have to notice the blown opportunities the Eagles made throughout the game. The fact that the critical 4th and 1, that was since admitted a mistake by the NFL officiating crew, had started as a 2nd and 1, shows how bad the Birds were doing the little things.

The Chargers are not perfect either; last weeks upset on the road was change of pace from their usual fourth quarter meltdowns. Both teams can score on any play, making this game a battle of the defenses. The Eagles blitz was a weak spot last week, sniffed out by the Cowboys with the quick receiver screen. While the Chargers defense has been vulnerable to the run up the gut, and has yet to face a West coast style offense in quite some time, this going to be a close one. With the Eagles getting Westbrook back, and the fact that the Eagles rarely lay down after a home loss to a division opponent, we like the Birds to play spoiler. Eagles 23-20
