Fantasy Prediction Recap: High Marks!
Fantasy Prediction Recap: High Marks!
On Tuesdays, Gridiron Experts tries it’s best to go over the hectic week of NFL action and review our fantasy advice as best we can. This recap was somewhat easy to do, as week 5′s recommendations for fantasy starts, sits, and sleepers went well. Here are some of our Highs and Lows
- Bench Matt Schuab vs. Giants Defense: Hell Yes we did! Gridiron Experts advised fantasy owners to look at better options this week and bench one the leagues better fantasy quarterbacks. The Giants defensive style forces the quick throw, and with all the injuries right now to the Texans, the Giants got Houston off their game.
- Start Percy Harvin vs. The Jets: Harvin was mentioned by John Gruden towards his move back to the slot. Percy can now get back to the fantasy yards you were use to last year.
- Start Santana Moss vs. The Packers: The McNabb to Moss combo was in sync and helped upset the Packers. Moss didn’t find the endzone, but he did have 7 catches for 118 yards
- Start Eli Manning vs. the Texans: Maybe a no-brainer for some, but Eli hasn’t been a reliable fantasy option this year. 3 TD’s and a couple of yards shy of 300 passing, made for a good start.
- Start Brent Celek vs. 49ers: Celek’s best game so far this season and starts a two game TD streak with Kolb.
- TIER 1 Fantasy Sleeper- Ryan Torain RB (WAS) 67 total yards
- TIER 1 Fantasy Sleeper-Shaun Hill QB (DET)- Monster call! Waiver Wire Killer. 227 passing yards 3 TD’s
- TIER 2 Fantasy Sleeper- Ryan Fitzpatrick QB (BUF)- 220 yards 3 TD’s
- TIER 2 Fantasy Sleeper-Lee Evans WR (BUF)- 87 yards 1 TD
My Bad ![]()
- Start Thomas Jones vs. The Colts: Not a factor at all…maybe the old-timer is really on the down side of his career.
- Start Chris Beanie Wells vs. The Saints: 35 yards. Yuck
- Bench Kyle Orton vs. Baltimore Defense: 314 yards and 2 TD. Most were pity points, but points are points
- Picking games. Really WTF is going on this season?
