Fantasy Prediction Recap: High Marks!
Gridiron Experts tries it’s best to go over the hectic week of NFL action and review our fantasy advice as best we can on Tuesdays. This recap was somewhat easy to do, as this weeks recommendations for fantasy starts, sits, sleepers and picks went well. Here are some of our Highs and Lows
Bang On!![]()
- We said Start Zach Miller vs. The Texans: Yeah we did, we’re you listening? Zach Millier had a huge day grabbing 11 receptions for 122 yards and a score.
- Start Vernon Davis vs. The Falcons: The yards weren’t as great as we had predicted but he did find the endzone ending the heart-break loss with 4 catches 36 yards and a touchdown.
- Start Carolina RB’s vs. The Saints: Huge “about time” numbers from both Carolina running backs. D.Williams had 86 rushing yards and a TD along with a 14 yard reception while J-Stew broke the cold streak with a 51 yards score and 21 yards on the ground.
- Start Donald Driver vs. The Lions: Big day 89 yards and a touchdown
- Bench Joe Flacco vs. the Steelers: expect for the last drive Flacco did nothing. His day wasn’t great 256 yards 1 TD a INT and fumble
- Start Justin Forsett (also Fantasy Sleeper): The yards per carry started out very good, unfortunately the Seahawks couldn’t keep a drive together long enough to hit a high pay-day: 75 total yards
- Jahvid Best vs. The Packers” Not bad for a guy that was banged up: 84 total yards.
- TIER 1 Fantasy Sleeper-QB Bruce Gradkowski (OAK): 278 2TD 2 INT, 16 rushing yards
- TIER 1 Fantasy Sleeper-WR Brandon Lloyd (DEN)- 11 REC 115 yards
- TIER 2 Fantasy Sleeper- WR Mike Thomas (JAC)- 5 REC 68 yards
- TIER 2 Fantasy Sleeper-RB Ryan Torain (WAS)- 70 rushing yards and a TD
- TIER 3 Fantasy Sleeper-RB Ladell Betts (NOS)- 70 total Yards
Pick’em Game of the Week: Browns upset Bengals![]()
Whoops ![]()
- Super Deep Sleeper: Jason Avant vs. the Skins: Avant had a pretty good day, but every Eagles fan knows which pass he dropped that could have been huge.
- Aaron Hernandez vs. The Dolphins: what a weird game, nothing from the MNF game was good for fantasy, except maybe New England defensive points
