Early WK 1 NFL Spread? Only In Vegas!Las Vegas
Gridiron Experts is packing its bags for one of many trips to Las Vegas this summer, so we thought we’d showcase future bets for the next week or so, for anyone who might be wondering how the betting community is looking at this upcoming season. We plan to have many posts geared towards long shot bets, Super Bowl sleepers, total team wins, and rookie of the year bets for you, so check back!

Here is a super early NFL week 1 spread for you to sink your teeth into. Remember a casino or bookie will change it’s spread throughout one NFL week, so I’m guessing this will look totally different come September. Either way, there is an advantage to getting in early.

Tennessee at Pittsburgh PIT-5.5  (36.5)
Miami at Atlanta ATL-4   (43)
Denver at Cincinnati CIN-1.5  (44)
Minnesota at Cleveland MIN-2   (40)
Jacksonville at Indianapolis IND-7.5  (44)
Detroit at New Orleans NO-11.5  (48.5)
Dallas at Tampa Bay DAL-2.5 (42.5)
Philadelphia at Carolina CAR-2.5  (44.5)
Jacksonville at Indianapolis IND-7.5  (43)
Kansas City at Baltimore BAL-8.5  (37)
NY Jets at Houston HOU-4   (45)
Washington at NY Giants NYG-5.5  (39)
San Francisco at Arizona ARZ-7  (48.5)
St. Louis at Seattle SEA-6  (44)
Buffalo at New England NE-10 (46.5)
San Diego at Oakland SD-7 (44.5)
Chicago at Green Bay GB-3  (43)

Quick thoughts to this future forecast of odds:
1) Denver isn’t getting much love on the road to the Bengals, but Cincinnati might be a team that is finally due for a breakout year.
2) Dallas fans might want to find an early bookie, as a field goal game in Tampa seems too good to be true. Especially seeing how there’s a good chance rookie Josh Freeman could get the start.
3) Are the Patriots back? Well, with a 10 point spread you’d think so wouldn’t you? That seems too high and will probably fall to 6-7 by week 1.
4) Jets fans always think they’re better than they really are, and 4 point underdogs to the Texans should make peoples blood boil. I personally think the Texans are a huge sleeper team in 2009 and wouldn’t touch that game.

These bets are a little ridiculous, as training camp isn’t even close to starting yet; however, the real hardcore gamblers might place bets on the Bills and Cowboys this early. Great odds are hard to come by, and betting on Tom Brady’s slow recovery or the Cowboys vs. a rookie quarterback is smart thinking.

WTF? whay are the eagles underdogs? they had a way better season than the panthers. Steve Smith will prob punch another guy in da face in training camp and miss week1. Bitch is on my fantasy team, i hate s.smith

Eagles blow, McNabb will choke the 4th quarter on the last drive. The panthers are stacked and will run wild on dem birds

Steve Ray, You are completely crazy. The Eagles and McNabb Will run all over the Panthers. What you call a QB is straight trash. Let me get this out of the way now, “I Told You So”.
