Deep Fantasy Sleepers For Week 7

Deep Fantasy Sleepers For Week 7
Here are a few fantasy gems you might want to give a hard look at before making your final decision on who’s in and who’s out in your fantasy line-up this week:
Justin Fargas, RB- Oakland Raiders
Betting fans finally saw the Oakland Raiders defeat a credible opponent last week, but nobody is going to bet this team will make the playoffs, despite what Richard Seymour might say.
Nonetheless, the Raiders will have some momentum that will carry over to this week’s game, as they welcome the Jets who are spinning out of control. The Jets have lost three straight and have also lost starting nose tackle Kris Jenkins for the year. Jenkins is the most important member on the Jets 3-4 defense.
Raiders running back Justin Fargas had his best game of the season last week against Philadelphia and look for him to build on it. He had 23 carries, which shows the team has confidence in him. Look for him to have a second straight solid game.
Tashard Choice, RB -Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys are a home favorite this week, and the NFL odds have a lot of people skeptical of them against a top-notch Atlanta Falcons team. But keep in mind the Falcons are going to be a very different team on the road versus at home.
The Dallas Cowboys have had a bye week to clear their minds after a couple of shaky outings. Considering the Broncos beat the Patriots, the Cowboys loss doesn’t look so bad now, and considering everyone in the NFC East lost during the Cowboys bye week, they’re still in the thick of things.
Look for the Cowboys to get back to their power rushing style this week. That’s always good news for Marion Barber owners, but even better news for Tashard Choice. Choice is a speedy running back with great hands and could be a sleeper this week with the recent thumb injury to Marion Barber. Barber, who hasn’t been a big fantasy producer this season, will still get his share of the carries this week, but Choice has good value in passing situations and could be a real headache for the Falcons.
Michael Crabtree, WR- San Francisco 49ers
There was plenty of news breaking from more than just one sports blog this past week, as San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Michael Crabtree was not only having a good couple of weeks of practice during the bye, but he is going to get the start this week against the Texans.
On one hand, you should probably temper expectations, but on the other hand, he is worth owning immediately since the team is showing so much confidence in him.
The 49ers are playing the Houston Texans, who are a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde team. You might be kicking yourself either way, but we expect decent numbers for his first game. Keep in mind he played college ball at Texas Tech and the 49er’s are playing in Houston this week. Fans will be there cheering him on even though they’re the underdogs.
