Being politically correct through the media is nothing new. A team can’t show their true intentions about a player that they may or may not be trying to unload, as deals gone bad could mean hurt feelings.
Philadelphia have been pretty consistent with wanting the speedy wide receiver DeSean Jackson back with the team in 2012, that is until Adam Schefter’s report Friday.

Not that long ago, Donovan McNabb was considered one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL. In an increasingly pass-happy league, you would think it would be easy for a player with his career statistics and pedigree to find an opportunity to compete for a job. With multiple NFL sources reporting that the Eagles will place the franchise tag on free agent DeSean Jackson, fan’s can only wonder if this means the team wants him around long-term, or don’t want him to walk for free. All of last season, D-Jack wanted a new contract, his contact problems were a constant excuse for his sub-par season.
