NFC Championship Preview In this season of incredible, record-breaking offensive production, it looks like the old adage “good defense beats good offense” holds true…in the NFC at least. Both the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants pulled off upsets of superior offensive clubs in the Divisional round. Now one of these two team is assured of a shot at immortality at Superbowl XLVI.
