Their aging, but still dominant defense helped lead them to an AFC Championship game appearance. For the Ravens to stay in the title picture, they’ll have to start thinking about tomorrow on the defensive side, while balancing the soon-to-be huge contract demands of offensive stars Joe Facco and Ray Rice. ILB- For the Ravens to remain an aggressive, defense-first squad, they’ll have to look to the future in their scheme’s most important position, the linebackers. The team added players to compliment their squad, and started the season as heavy NFC favorites. Yet after another injury that kept Vick from seeing the field, the team was forced to call on back-up QB Vince Young to carry the load. Despite leading the Eagles to an upset win over the Giants, VY’s record at the helm for the Eagles was 2-3. After an embarrassing loss to the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, the Eagles fell to 4-8, and the season was dubbed a bust. The team rallied to salvage Andy Reid’s job and win the final 4 games of the year, but the “Dream Team” season didn’t end the way everyone had thought.
