Bye Bye Bly

Bye Bye Bly
The Denver Broncos released 10-year veteran Cornerback Dre’ Bly on Tuesday, along with 5 other cap casualty players. Dre’ Bly came to the Denver Broncos through a trade with the Detroit Lions 2 years ago. The Lions traded Bly and their ’07 sixth-round draft pick to the Broncos for running back Tatum Bell, offensive tackle George Foster, and Denvers ’07 fifth-round draft pick. It’s safe to say there were no big winners in this trade, as both teams were just unloading their garbage.
Other Broncos that got the boot include: Defensive end John Engelberger, Defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson, linebackers Niko Koutouvides and Jamie Winborn, safety Marquand Manuel, and tight end Nate Jackson.
