The Buffalo Bills Lead Smoke Screen Chatter

With hours before the start of the NFL Draft, I have heard many rumors about teams interested in players and possible trades, but currently the Bills lead the way for the most scenarios.

Despite our latest Mock Draft, I was starting to get the feeling that the Buffalo Bills were going to take SS Mark Baron with the 10th overall pick. Yet rumors are flying all over the place.

A league source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to PFT’s Mike Florio that the Bills are interested in a left tackle and would make every effort to move up for USC Matt Kalil. Yet Bills GM Buddy Nix would prefer to trade down and use a later 1st-round pick on a tackle while gaining more depth.

Up, down, staying put, which is it? The team seems to be all over the map. My guess is the Bills have players they really like, and scenarios for each possible outcome. I don’t think even the Bills know which direction they are headed tonight, as the price to move up will be the ultimate question.

One thing you can count on is, there will be trades tonight, that’s for sure.
