Arizona & Pittsburgh Super Bowl….Really?
I’m sure the Steelers nation will freak out, as will the handful of genuine fans of the Arizona Cardinals (the ones that actually went to the games, as opposed to the bandwagoners who bought tickets to the NFC Championship) when I say that this looks to be the weakest Super Bowl in years!

I know there are no free rides in the NFL, I know that the Steelers and Cardinals respectfully won their divisions and played hard in the playoffs, but is this really the best the NFL has to offer? What happened?

How did the 13-3 “Smash & Dash” Titans, with their fresh from an AA meeting quarterback, not go farther than a first round exit?

How did the 11-5 Patriots with another superstar in the making quarterback not get in and do some damage?

Where were the Manning’s? Peyton and Eli are always in someone’s face, either stealing wins in the dying seconds of a game, or selling you junk during the commercial breaks.

What about the Cinderella stories from the Chargers and Eagles? The stars align so you can get into the playoffs, and nothing! They both fell short and now have many 30+ players on their teams that are one step closer to falling into the “Dan Marino category” (no Super Bowl ring).

Regardless of how it happened, I’m going to need another wardrobe malfunction to get any kind of excitement out of this game.
