Money Where Your Mouth Is Week 16 This a weekly column that puts our expertise to the test, as we show a couple of the bets that we are placing on specific games, or prop bets offered by the many sports books and casinos. Of course  we are a sports betting advisory, so our goal is to help you win money, but if you can’t afford to place bets…don’t! Safe Bets New England -7.5 This game will be classic Bill Belichick coaching: run the ball, control the clock, and keep Warner and his weapons off the field. The cold weather will play into the Patriots game plan, with gusts of wind disrupting the timing between…

Fantasy Forecast Week 16 Don’t lose sleep over line-up decisions in your fantasy playoffs. Gridiron Experts predicts the top fantasy studs and duds and even gives a sleeper player that you might not be looking at. New Orleans at Detroit – fantasy playoff  jackpot! With no one in the crowd, it’s hard to call this a road game for the Saints. Drew Brees should run up the score just for the fun of it. Missing the playoffs is a bummer, but throwing for 400 yards might put a smile on his face, and yours. The Saints also don’t want to be “that team” that lost to the Lions, so play your fantasy studs with ease….

Thursday Night Football Colts & Jags

December 17, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Thursday Night Football Quick Pick Indianapolis Colts -7 at Jacksonville Jaguars This game is one that people were circling on the calendar at the beginning of the season. The Colts have owned the AFC South for years now, but people were expecting that the other 3 teams in this division would begin to challenge for the top spot. While the Titans have made leaps and bounds in improvement, Jacksonville seems to have fallen apart. The Jaguars surprised a few people last week by beating the Packers, but since their bye week they have only gone 2-7. Injuries have piled up, and overall this team has  lost hope. With expectations high in September, the Jaguars have been a huge let…

Pro Bowl Rosters

December 16, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Pro Bowl Rosters were announced on Tuesday! A couple players stand out as a surprise. QB Reach-Brett Favre makes the pro bowl, which in my opinion with 17 INT’s is a joke. Snubbed- Chad Pennington is having a great season, maybe come back player of the year. RB Reach-Ronnie Brown. Yes he had some monster games, but overall I thought Snubbed- Steve Slaton should have made it instead. TE Reach- Antoino Gates and Chris Cooley had good seasons, but not pro bowl seasons. Snubbed- Dallas Clark for the AFC and John Carlson for the NFC. Carlson is having a great season, but isn’t a household name…yet. CB Reach- Antoine Winfield. Snubbed- Ronde Barber.
