PFT.com is reporting (again) that Chad Johnson, who for some reason changed his name to “Ochocinco”, had gotten permission to place his new legal name on the back of his jersey. Since his legal name technically is “Ochocinco” with no space between the “Ocho” and the “Cinco,” that’s how it will appear on his jersey. The receiver legally changed his name in Florida last August. He asked the league and the media to call him Chad Ocho Cinco, a two-word nickname he had adopted referring to his No. 85…which I don’t really get?
